Septic Tank Pumping
A Septic tank is the “Digester” in your septic system and needs to be regularly maintained by removing sludge and scum from the tank to keep it working properly. That’s what is protecting you from costly Soil Treatment Area repairs or sewage backing up into the house. At Durango Septic we recommend pumping the tank every 2 to 4 years depending on usage.

Septic Tank Locating
Need help finding your septic tank? No problem! We have a flushable radio transmitter and camera that help us locate your tank. Don’t want to expose your tank lids? We can do that for you! Manual labor rates are $140 per hour charged in 15 minute increments. Too much work for a shovel? We have a Mini Excavator to help us dig it up! Pricing for the Mini Excavator is $325 this includes mobilization and up to two hours on the machine. Additional hours are at $140 per hour.
Septic Tank Riser
Risers are installed at a cost plus rate. A typical septic tank would require $150 in materials at our supplier, plus $150 for us to go get them and install at your place. This means $300 total cost to you. If you want to do them your self, we’ll be more than happy to talk you through the process so you can get it done properly.
Septic Tank Repairs
We are able to handle any septic repairs needed. Need your tank replaced? New soil treatment area? No problem! We have the experience and resources to take care of that for you.
Transfer of title Inspections
Selling your home? Let us help you with your “Transfer of Title Inspection” as of January 2019 all septic systems in La Plata County are required to pass an NAWT inspection prior to sale and “transfer of title” of your home. We will provide this inspection for you and any necessary repairs to make your septic compliant as (per the San Juan Basin Health Department requirements).

- SJBHD transfer of title permit $90
Bobcat Mini Excavator
Our Mini Excavator service is $325. This includes mobilization and up to two hours on the machine. Additional hours are $140 per hour.
